Learning a new art form

I signed up for what I thought was a jewelry class - instead it was painting on glass squares. Just like when I took the stained glass class, I have a whole new appreciation for glass work.
Here is a picture of our first project in the kiln.

The night is beautiful

This picture I shot while I was trying to take pictures of the moon. I just kind of liked how the orchid are mixed with the bare branches.

Thought..."Either way it will take the same amount of time."

This could be a harder project than I thought. I need to carry the camera everywhere. So this was taken with my cell phone and it is of the little animals I crochet...

Tuesday ~ November 11

So today is the second day of the project. I took pictures as I walked home from getting my car fixed and then some at the end of the day. Interesting both times I took pictures of doors...does that mean something....

Monday November 10

I am excepting that things don't have to be perfect. I am not starting this blog on Jan 1. I do not have a good picture that I actually took today. But I wanted to do a real start and so I did take this picture today ~ Monday ~ November 10, 2008.

I really did want to post a picture of the cats but I am going to limit that right now...too easy. These are roses that grow in our garden.
